"When you begin to think outside the box, you often become some other "leaders" lousy follower. That usually costs something" (Andy Rayner)

"Our guardian angels are bored." (Mike Foster)

It's where I feel I'm at these days. “In the second half of life, it is good just to be a part of the general dance. We do not have to stand out, make defining moves, or be better than anyone else on the dance floor. Life is more participatory than assertive, and there is no need for strong or further self-definition” (Falling Upward. Richard Rohr.120).

Called Out of the World to be put Right Back In!

Church is Call out – only to be sent right back in.

"Mission is not primarily about 'going from here to there' , no matter where on the globe you fix those two points .Its core is God calling people out of the world only to send them right back in, on his mission of declaring God 's glory among all people. Christ's reference to 'Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth' was not prioritizing. I think Jesus was trying to make the point that there is not one square inch of the globe that escapes his concern and authority. God's mission includes nothing less than the whole world. …."

(Pep Philpott Executive Director of SIM Canada June 2003 Issue 99)
