"When you begin to think outside the box, you often become some other "leaders" lousy follower. That usually costs something" (Andy Rayner)

"Our guardian angels are bored." (Mike Foster)

It's where I feel I'm at these days. “In the second half of life, it is good just to be a part of the general dance. We do not have to stand out, make defining moves, or be better than anyone else on the dance floor. Life is more participatory than assertive, and there is no need for strong or further self-definition” (Falling Upward. Richard Rohr.120).

Judson's Parents Fail to Support His Mission Call & Passion

When Adoniram Judson was a very bright student. He was preparing for ministry and was known to be exceptionally bright. At on point a professor named Dr Edward Griffin, was asked to serve as pastor of the Park Street Church in Boston, the largest church in the city. He had He accepted and he told Adoniram's father that he wished for his son, Adoniram Judson to serve with him as an assistant after he graduated. Needless to say his family was very ecstatic saying.

" 'And you will be so near home!' His mother exclaimed joyously. `Dr. Griffin is sure that you're destined to become one of New England's great ministers. This assistantship will be the first step----' ' said his sister. "No Abigail, Adoniram suddenly broke in. "I shall never live in Boston. I have much farther to go than that." He then told them of the private commitment he had made to serve the Lord as a missionary…….Adoniram's mother and sister responded to his unexpected revelation with tears and vigorous verbal protests while his father lapsed into dejected silence. "
