"When you begin to think outside the box, you often become some other "leaders" lousy follower. That usually costs something" (Andy Rayner)

"Our guardian angels are bored." (Mike Foster)

It's where I feel I'm at these days. “In the second half of life, it is good just to be a part of the general dance. We do not have to stand out, make defining moves, or be better than anyone else on the dance floor. Life is more participatory than assertive, and there is no need for strong or further self-definition” (Falling Upward. Richard Rohr.120).

Business as Mission- Economic Develop is Missions!

3rd World people need Jobs: The crisis

"Three billion people live on less than $2.25 per day. Fifty percent of the world's population is under twenty-five. In the next twenty years, three billion young people will enter the market place looking for employment. We can't meet some of the world's most dire needs unless we address the area of economic development."

(EMQ January 2004, "Business as Mission" Mat Tunehag.)

Social Issues Important:

" An individual gospel without a social gospel is a soul without a body and a social gospel without an individual gospel is a body without a soul. One is a ghost and the other a corpse." -E. Stanley Jones

(Quoted by EMQ, July 2002 , pg 297)
