"When you begin to think outside the box, you often become some other "leaders" lousy follower. That usually costs something" (Andy Rayner)

"Our guardian angels are bored." (Mike Foster)

It's where I feel I'm at these days. “In the second half of life, it is good just to be a part of the general dance. We do not have to stand out, make defining moves, or be better than anyone else on the dance floor. Life is more participatory than assertive, and there is no need for strong or further self-definition” (Falling Upward. Richard Rohr.120).

Be Sensitive the Terms We use ONLINE & on Mission Sites

Muslims Missions: Avoid Christian Military Terms when working with them.

Avoid using terms like target, conquer, claim the land, take over, infiltrate, penetrate, power encounters, subjugation. If Muslims read you letters or email or web page they will have a different idea.

"One of the aspiring elders of the church in a North African country, a Muslim back ground believer, was surfing the Internet. He found a Christian Web site that spoke about the great things that God was doing in his country. This ministry boasted of establishing "beach- heads" and believed the gospel would go forth with power. Soon the country would be conquered for Christ. The team leader of our work talked about the site with this aspiring elder, a university graduate, who understood it in literal military terms. From his perspective, this group was planning a military invasion of his country, a literal Christian jihad (holy war). If a mature Muslim background believer perceives these military metaphors as literal. truths, how much more the average Muslim? "
