They Burned God

D. Bonhoeffer wrote this date
"9.11.1938" beside Psalm 74:8 in his bible.

That was when the "Night Of Broken Glass", as it was later called, began. Hitler sent out an order to all Gestapo offices in Germany to brutalize the Jews. Jewish synagogues, and stores were broken and burned, jewish people beaten and murdered.

"They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely!” They burned every place where God was worshiped in the land." ~ Psalm 74:8
